ANIMAL FEED REGISTRATION

COMPOST REGISTRATION

       Compost operators must pass the Maryland Compost Facility Operators Exam and lab reports                               are required annually.  

Note: Additional documentation may be required to support any claim on the label.

FERTILIZER

      *Maryland has Nitrogen and Phosphorous restrictions for lawn/turf fertilizers. Labels must be compliant as per the Maryland Commercial Fertilizer Law

1. Submit a PDF copy of your label and
2. Submit a copy of the *Enforcement Analytical Test Method (EAM) for each product to be registered.
   *The EAM should satisfy EPA requirement 830.1800

Submitting Pesticide Label for Review

       I.            Section 3 Pesticide

A.     Submit the following information

1. An EPA stamped approved label
2. Submit a copy of the *Enforcement Analytical Test Method (EAM) for each product to be registered.
   *The EAM should satisfy EPA requirement 830.1800.

B.     Send the required information above to State Chemist at:

    II.            Section 25(b) Pesticide

A.     Submit the following information

1. A PDF of your label
2. A copy of the safety data sheet
3. The confidential statement of formulation
4. The Efficacy data* which contains the following standards:

1. scientifically valid
2. reproducible,
3. done with the product being registered
4. include the raw data. 

       *Efficacy data must be provided for every claim made on the label.
